The Benefits of Meditation




Meditation is a wonderful practice for the mind, body and soul with the capabilities of allowing us to penetrate through past and current traumas, to over come issues of the mind as well as to heal and improve the physical body.

     Many studies preformed by the National Institute of Health has shown to improve symptoms of anxiety, depression, insomnia, high blood pressure and more.

     In the Harvard Gazette they discuss some of the known benefits of Meditation but the also discuss how a functional magnetic resonance imaging machine which takes pictures of the brain and also records brain activity helps to show the benefits.
